I have so much to say but watching people who look like me get murdered every single day isn’t an easy pill to swallow and hasn’t put me in the mood to write. I don’t even know where to start because the reality that my skin will always make me a target eats at me and the feeling of helplessness is overwhelming.
I have been trying to come to terms with ways I can help and still knowing that whatever I do might not be enough. But I’m willing to try and use my platform for something I care about. I’m putting together a list of resources to help victims of police brutality and support the black lives matter movement.
I’ll do my best to update the list as I learn about more resources and avenues to donate
